NAB AFL Superkick

It's never too late to get your footy fix!

FAQs

GENERAL

NAB AFL Superkick is a modified version of AFL that focuses on skill development for 8- to 12-year-olds. That means - tackle free, highly social, shorter seasons and no training required! It’s a great introduction to AFL for those with zero or limited experience, but is also suited for current or past players looking to keep fit and play footy with mates.

Superkick programs continue to pop up in suburbs around Australia! Click here to find your local club or program.

Superkick is a great way for kids to gain confidence while developing footy and match play skills, while Auskick is more about learning AFL fundamental skills through game-based activities. Sessions for both are tailored based on pace and ability.

Superkick requires only one session at the same location each week, so it’s easy to slot into a jam-packed schedule. For junior footy, training and matches are on separate days. Superkick teams range from 5-9 players per side in modified match play, so kids learn footy and build confidence while still staying safe and having fun. Junior footy, on the other hand, is full AFL, but tailored to a smaller footballer.
