About Queensland

AFL Queensland

AFL Queensland is the state body dedicated to the growth and development of Australian rules football throughout Queensland.

From NAB AFL Auskick to our premier men's and women's competitions; the QAFL and Bond University QAFLW, to the StreetSmarts AFLQ Schools Cup and Queensland Wheelchair leagues, it's our goal to be the most progressive and accessible team sport in Queensland.

We work closely with community clubs from Cape York to Coolangatta to support participants, coaches, umpires, and volunteers on their footy journeys.

We partner with the Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast SUNS to find and foster talent while enhancing the fan experience through various community initiatives and events.

Hall of Fame

The role of the Queensland Hall of Fame is to recognise and enshrine players, coaches, umpires, administrators, media representatives, events, teams and venues that have made a most significant contribution to the game of Australian rules football in Queensland since its inception in 1866.
