STREETSMARTS AFLQ SCHOOLS CUP
The StreetSmarts AFLQ Schools Cup is AFL Queensland’s premier schools’ competition.
The competition is free for all public, private and independent schools within Queensland and Northern Rivers, New South Wales.
More than 16,000 students participated in the 2024 StreetSmarts AFLQ Schools Cup.
Associated Independent Colleges – AFL Program
Since 2019, AFL Queensland has worked in partnership with Associated Independent Schools (AIC) to support the AIC aggregate premiership competition.
AIC is the largest boys school sports association in Queensland and AFL Queensland is proud to support AFL offered across both primary and secondary interschool sport.
Queensland Girls Secondary Schools Sports Association
The QGSSSA is a promising pathway to professional sports for girls in secondary school.
Through the competition, AFL Queensland facilitates coaching development opportunities, as well as the chance to engage with Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast SUNS AFLW teams to support their skill development.
